Our kefir starts with the same raw Jersey and Guernsey cow's milk that anchors our entire dairy line — 100% A2/A2, Grass Fed, No grain. No silage shortcuts. No hormones, no antibiotics, no vaccines, no additives — ever.

The milk is then fermented with traditional kefir grains and added organic strawberries for a milder flavor— a centuries-old culture of beneficial bacteria and yeast — over a slow ferment that produces a tangy, lightly effervescent drink rich in live cultures and active enzymes. The process is unchanged from the way kefir has been made for thousands of years: milk, grains, time, temperature. Nothing else.

Store at 36–38°F (2–3°C) — colder than a standard refrigerator default. Keep raw milk at the back of the fridge.

Kefir is a living, fermented product — it may continue to ferment slowly in the refrigerator, becoming tangier and slightly more effervescent over time. This is normal. Some natural separation may occur; shake gently before each use to redistribute.

At proper temperature, best within 8-10 days from our weekly Tuesday/Thursday delivery. We do not recommend freezing — freezing kills the live cultures and ruins the texture.

We always recommend a cooler with ice when purchasing any dairy items to keep the correct temperature of the milk when transporting.
