Frozen Seafood: Keep frozen at 0°F (-18°C) or below until ready to use. Do not leave seafood at room temperature to thaw.

Safe Thawing: Thaw overnight in the refrigerator. For faster thawing, place the seafood in a sealed, leakproof bag and submerge it in cold water. Seafood thawed in cold water or in the microwave should be cooked immediately.

Handling: Keep raw seafood and its juices separate from cooked foods, fresh produce, and other ready-to-eat items. Wash hands, utensils, cutting boards, and preparation surfaces thoroughly after contact with raw seafood.
